MANUFACTURING PLANNER

Job Title: Manufacturing PlannerDivision: EMEASalary: Approximately €40,000 gross annuallyLocation : AlicanteKey Responsibilities:Manage the supply of products and components to meet customer requirements, optimize production costs, and maintain target safety stock levels.Collaborate with Production, Suppliers, Logistics, and Commercial departments to resolve issues and effectively prioritize orders.Conduct production planning for multiple facilities, ensuring adherence to schedules and optimal resource allocation.Provide reliable production completion dates to customer service and continuously monitor progress, addressing any issues such as equipment malfunctions or staff shortages.Ensure the availability of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and spare parts as needed.Monitor production and material costs, ensuring compliance with financial targets.Collect and analyze production data and team performance, focusing on key KPIs such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Scheduling Adherence, Inventory Accuracy, and Stock Coverage.Support Life Cycle Management by planning phase-outs, reducing excess inventory, and adjusting raw material stock levels to minimize non-productive inventory.Additional Responsibilities:Maintain and optimize Material Resource Planning (MRP) processes and master parameters.Drive initiatives to improve supply quality KPIs (e.g., Schedule Adherence, OTIF, Days Cover, Backlog, Supplier OTIF), implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.Job Purpose:The role aims to lead and improve planning processes, covering areas like MPS/MRP, resource capacity planning, purchasing, inventory management, and cost analysis.
