In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency of our market data operations and supporting the growth of our global financial market initiatives. Represented in over 30 countries, Compagnie Financière Tradition S.A. is listed on the Swiss stock exchange.ResponsibilitiesLead the efficient delivery of market data to our clients, providing expert support for infrastructure issues and collaborating with major vendors.Manage a demanding queue of requests and incidents, prioritizing effectively and working with global teams to ensure seamless resolution.Accurately deploy and maintain complex systems, meticulously documenting procedures.Utilize Linux proficiency to analyze and diagnose issues across development, QA, UAT, and production deployments, collaborating with network and infrastructure teams.Skills & Experience2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, demonstrating hands-on expertise.Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven record of accomplishment of delivering timely solutions.Proficient in Red Hat or Debian based Linux distributions.Excellent proficiency with Bash, Python, GitLab, and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible and Puppet.Commitment to automation and templating across all processes.Comfortable managing heterogeneous stacks, including cloud providers such as AWS,on-premise virtualization (VMware ESXi/vCenter), and containerization technologies (Kubernetes with KubeVirt, OpenShift, or Rancher).Experience with various database technologies (especially PostgreSQL) and ideally some exposure to time-series databases.Familiarity with time-series databases (Velocity, OneTick, kdb or QuestDB) or experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch would be advantageous.Experience in managing customers using FIX, ETA/UPA or WebSocket API market data protocols would be an advantageous.Hours & LocationThis position entails working Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with an hour for lunch each day.Occasional out-of-hours and/or on weekend work will be required.Based out of our Madrid officeWork with global teams daily for support handover during early morning/evening.Participation in change management, monitoring and testing on weekends/evenings when required.Tradition do not accept agency CV’s.
