MICROSOFT POWER PLATFORM - SENIOR DEVELOPER

HCL Tech’s Microsoft Business Applications Practice - (MBAP) is seeking a Power platform developer to join their award winning and growing team. This individual will have hands-on development experience and will work collaboratively with consultants and architects to ensure deliverables meet the needs of the business and aims to always add value to the Power Platform team and customers. The successful candidate will have a good level of knowledge of all components of the Power Platform and be a champion of delivering against requirements using code-free solutions. They will stay up to date on the latest functionality offered by the platform and work with team members both in a project and practice context. They must possess excellent consultancy and communication skills and be capable of working with stakeholders. They must also have exposure to all aspects of the project lifecycle, from project inception and requirements gathering to implementation and adherence to best practice, all the way through to testing, training and support. Roles and ResponsibilitiesProven experience of Microsoft Power Platform development – Canvas & Model Driven Apps, Power Automate, Custom Copilot and Power BIAbility to liaise with business stakeholders on app requirementsAbility to collaborate with the Global Power Platform team on platform technical requirementsBe accountable for ensuring that we deliver services into operations in line with Information Security Policy Controls Standard and Operations Delivery Processes. Innovate within these standards utilizing ITIL, Agile and DevOps practices to their full value.Contribute to functional and solution design/specification documentsLeverage Power Platform expertise to help the team solve complex problems.Role ExperienceKnowledge and experience with developing Model-driven and Canvas apps, as well as an understanding of the difference between themExperience working with Microsoft DataverseAdvanced use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and VisioProven experience working in both Agile/Waterfall project deliveryAbility to collaborate with functional teams with both onshore and offshore resourcesAbility to demonstrate a clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilitiesExcellent client-facing skills, e.g., verbal, client demonstrations, delivering training within an organizationStrong understanding of software development principles and best practicesExperience requirements gathering, solution design, prototyping and unit testing integrationQualificationsPower Platform Certifications- PL100/PL200/PL400Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited UniversityFirst-hand professional experience within a consultancy environmentSkilled in Power Platform code syntax and language requirements, API, or rest service integrationsNice to have experience working with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies and tools, such as Power Automate Desktop, Ui Path, Blue PrismNice to have experience in Power BI development for dashboards, reports, and standalone visualsNice to have experience in Power pages Development and other custom portal developmentBasic to intermediate experience in Integrating with Azure services through Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Web Api’sExpertise in the Power Platform COE and all governance componentsA proficient level of knowledge with project tools such as Azure DevOpsExperience in solution delivery with tools other than Power Platform such as Office 365, D365, etc.If you have a valid disability certificate, Certificate of Disability in Force, please contact us.Among HCL's principles we would like to highlight diversity and inclusion as a strength in our values and practices.
