MIDDLEWARE ENGINEER

At G+D, we are looking for a Middelware Engineer within the team based in El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona.Your Duties- The Middelware Engineer will be the primarily responsible for the 1st & 2nd level support for chip personalization software, card reader and HSM hardware.- It is also responsible for the 2nd level support for Data Generation software and Shoopflor management software (Production Controller).- He/She has to work on support requests managed in service ticketing system. Further communication channels are telephone and email.- Remote support of the G+D sites for production software, the software engineer has to offer onsite support and user trainings. - Business trips could be executed on planned basis or on short notice.- Will be also responsible for the preparation and deployment of our solutions at cient installations and support them by remote or onsite.- Furthermore the software engineer has to work as team member in client setup or site projects.- Focus on solution engagements.- Focus on incidence resolution Your profileSuccessful and completed technical education, a university degree in computer science (optional), or a similar field.Experience as IT Specialist (m/f) or a comparable one.Experience in operating system MS Windows 10/11 Windows Server.Several years of related IT Service Desk, or operations experience.Strong troubleshooting and analyzing skills.Experience with Java ApplicationsBasic knowledge in PC-network (LAN).Basic knowledge with data base systems like MS SQL Server / Oracle.Very organized, quality consciousness.Able to work accurate even under pressure.Solution orientation.Possess initiative and drive for self-learning and improvement.Good communication skills – Fluent communication in English.Self-starter, pro-active and able to work independently and in all levels.
