Full-time Temporary position – 4 months        POSITION SUMMARY   Manage execution of Co-Packaging activities at Head Office in Esplugues del Llobregat  in line with corporate packaging policies in terms of quality, cost, safety and compliance.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …    Copacking activities.
Together with Marketing, define the best option to create promotional SKU's; help in the creation of the copacking briefings if needed.
Validate the physical samples prior to the first production.
Safety, Quality & Compliance.
Implement packaging related quality and compliance directives.
Participate in supplier audits when/if needed.
Consumer Complaints.
Analyze consumer complaints related to co-packaging, propose & implement corrective actions.
Supplier development.
Support Packaging Head Office and Procurement in the selection, assessment and development of new suppliers/converters.
Raise packaging material complaints with suppliers & collaborate to resolve them.
People & Know How.
Disseminate packaging best practices and knowledge.
Source & utilise training materials available within the Group (or develop training materials as appropriate)  Supply Chain Efficiency.
Develop the secundary and terciary packaging to ensure the good performance of the palletized products; reduction of the bad goods and optimization of the TDC.
Create specifications together with the Marketing and Sales Team and according with the customers needs and expectations.
Collaborate with the factory to achieve excellence in stretch film operations.
Create and provide the Palletization Sheets to the factory and the Sales Team.
Artworks approval.
Responsible for the approval of the repro files and arworks, in Content Hub and via e-mail for some countries, in order to ensure the adaptations of graphics to the technical drawing when needed.
Green dot information.
Provide the data to pay the feed of the Green Dot; ensure the accuracy of the data, and inform the organization about changes in the specification that affect the weight of the packaging materials.
ARE YOU A FIT?   Graduate in Engineering, preferably in Packaging, Mechanics, Industrial, Chemistry or Automation or equivalent (Materials Science, Printing).
Minimum 2 years' experience in packaging development and packing operation in FMCG industry.
Knowledge of problem solving and project management.
Valuable previous experience in a factory.
Other skills.
Fluent in English and Spanish  To be able to work in a network & interact with Packaging & Design peers across the organisation.
