DEVOPS ENGINEER

At Capitole, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer or Software Developer interested in building backend services. You will be responsible for the architecture and infrastructre (IaC) and development of these applications, as well as coordination with teams responsible for other layers of the product's infrastructure. Building a product is a collaborative effort, and as such, we value a strong team player with a commitment to excellence.Responsibilities:Design and develop software solutions that meet business needs and requirements.Collaborate with the software architect to ensure that the software is designed and implemented according to best practices and standards.Ensure that software systems are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.Develop and maintain technical documentation.Work with different codebases.Stay informed about advancements in the field of Node.js development.Execute diagnostic tests, repair defects, and provide technical support.Technical Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in software development.Develop and maintain all server-side network components.Ensure optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements.Design backend services for various business processes.Write high-performance, testable, reusable, and efficient code.Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.Document Node.js processes, including database schemas, and prepare reports.Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies.Strong AWS Expertise:Proficiency in AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Experience with serverless architecture and solutions using AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.Familiarity with API Gateway and designing cloud-native, scalable backend services.Solid understanding of best practices in AWS infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance.Additional Responsibilities:Lead the implementation of AWS Infrastructure solutions.Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.Collaborate with the DevOps transversal support team for pipeline management and broader DevOps needs (though pipelines are not the primary focus).Ensure adherence to best practices in infrastructure and development processes.Required Technical Skills:Senior-level AWS DevOps expertise, particularly in infrastructure design and management.Hands-on experience with Node.js development, ideally using TypeScript.Familiarity with building and supporting microservices in a serverless environment.Benefits at Capitole!!A budget of €1,200 for individual training to use on events, books, certifications, or other learning opportunities.Monthly check-ins with your team for continuous feedback.Flexible working hours to help balance your professional and personal life.Private health insurance fully covered by Capitole.Flexible compensation (restaurant tickets, transport, or childcare vouchers).Andjoy membership.Discounts on major brands for employees (Club Capitole).Team-building activities every two months.
