OPENSHIFT CLOUD DEVOPS ENGINEER

We are looking for a OpenShift Cloud DevOps Engineer!What will you do at HCL Tech?Having E2E responsibility for OpenShift landscape of our customers.Developing and managing operational tasks within a global team with a focus on automation, reliability, maintainability, security and customer satisfaction.Make use of CI/CD framework to rapidly support lifecycle management of the platform.Acting as L2-L3 support for incidents, problems and service request.Work with various teams (including 3rd party) to resolve incidents and implement changes.Implement and drive automation and self-healing solutions to reduce toil.Reduce error budgets to address reliability issues and/or risks.Produce and maintain internal designs and user documentation.Support ITSM processes.What are we looking for?Hands-on OpenShift development: Application creation, deployment, and management.CI/CD pipeline proficiency: Jenkins or GitLab CI within OpenShift.Strong scripting skills: Bash and JavaScript.Kubernetes experience: Familiarity with concepts and operations.Automation enablement: Automating deployment processes and managing infrastructure as code.Azure Associate certification or equivalent knowledge level.Experience with HELM or Kustomize is mandatoryAt least experience with one of the following; Ansible, GoLang or Terraform.Is security minded in all activities.Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and toolset (i.e. Jenkins, Tekton, GitHub Actions).Good to have Customer Operator Build knowledge based on GoLang.Good to have eperience with GitOps principles (ArgoCD, FluxCD).Good to have experienced with Monitoring and Logging (setting custom matrics for monitoring)Experience with Github is mandatory.Good to have knowledge of OpenShift patching and upgrading.Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, ever changing environment.Eager to learn and adapt to a constant changing environment.· Understanding of Agile development, SCRUM or SRE concepts is a plusDo you want to know more?Apply for a supercharging progress!Important to note:- If you have a valid disability certificate, Certificate of Disability in Force, please contact us.Among HCL's principles we would like to highlight diversity and inclusion as a strength in our values and practices.
