Role purpose:You are responsible for designing, executing, and securing innovative strategies that drive excellence in key areas. This role will champion continuous improvement in organizational development, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term vision and strategic objectives.As a critical member of the management team, you will lead the transformation of the organizational culture, creating a collaborative environment where employees thrive, and the company remains competitive in attracting and developing top talent.With a focus on fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workplace, you will oversee all people and culture initiatives for Spain (+50 staff), working closely with local leadership to deliver impactful and data-driven solutions.Key responsibilities:Recruitment & OnboardingSupport on recruitment of local staff: support local management and P&C BP AG in the entire hiring process across all levels and all departments for the Spain entityCoordinate and guarantee an effective and smooth on-boarding process for new hires including labour topics, safety regulations and local benefits related to each job positionCompensation & Working conditionsHandle and follow the salary and compensation process including all benefits and other perksManage and optimize local Compensation and benefits allocationsImplement structural redesigns and job evaluation systems to ensure internal competitiveness and equitySupport local MAZARS external partner on preparation of employment contracts, supplementary agreements, termination agreements, notices of terminationPosition CHG as an attractive employer of choice in the Spanish labour marketPeople Management & DevelopmentSupport the annual performance appraisal processCreate, drive, and support a Talent / Young Graduation Management program and take continuous actions to develop our young potentialAccompany and integrate off-boarding processesOrganizational DevelopmentSupport future SAP HR module implementation next 2025Act as SPOC for discussions with all staff on sensitive personnel-related issuesResponsible for developing initiatives that support our collaborative and outstanding working environment, through the execution of well-being and internal communication programs.Responsible for correct application and control of Spanish labour laws and regulations (workday register, paid leave, etc..) together with local labour-related policies (company car, mobile working, etc.)Support Management in organizational development (e.g. defining future requirements, training needs of existing employees, strategic workforce planning).What you need to succeed in the role:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of proven experience in designing, executing, and tracking all core HR processesStrong expertise in Spanish labour regulations and compensation structuresExtensive knowledge of HRIS, preferably SuccessFactorsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearlyProven ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships across functions and organizational levelsExpertise in providing confidential counseling and coaching on a wide range of people-related mattersDynamic personality with the ability to inspire and energize teams, fostering a sense of purpose and passion for CHGStrong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take timely and confident actionsStrategic thinker with the ability to understand the business model, anticipate future skill gaps, and drive initiatives that promote sustainable growthProficiency in English and Spanish language is required, Catalan language is a plusOur commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion:CHG-MERIDIAN embraces individuals from all backgrounds and perspectives to create a welcoming and collaborative workplace through the recruitment process.
