The company currently has more than 950 professionals in the different areas in which it operates.Neotalent, the responsive people.Find out more about us at www.neotalent.pt/es y https://neotalent.pt/es/oportunidades-de-carrera/.Role Overview:One of our most important Oil&Gas and Energy clients in Barcelona, is looking for an experienced Piping Materials Engineer to be in charge of all technical activities related to definition, take-off and selection of piping materials, insulation and protective coatings for piping.What you will do:The key-responsibilities are the following:Material Activities MH Budget control on ProjectProject interdisciplinary coordination on Material related Fields.Prove experiences on Small and Medium Task Teams Coordination (3 to 5 persons)Organizes MTO activities, managing its own MTO team to achieve the set objectives of quality and time of take-offs.Consolidates and validates the obtained quantities.Manages and issue solving with 3D interphasePrepares bid and purchase requisitions for piping materials.Evaluates technical proposals from bidders.Prepares technical bid tabulations.Follows up and comments technical documentation for piping materialsFollows up quantities through the project life, tracking and solving duplicates and off-spec elements.What you are like:If you identify with the following requirements, ¡we want to meet you!:Education & Training: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Materials, Metallurgy, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Technical Knowledge of Material related ASME / ASTM / ISO Standards, EN /DIN Standard (Desireable).Work experience: More than 6 years’ experience in similar functions, experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining or Petrochemical IndustrySoftware: Smart Plant Material Basic or Medium Expertise (Desirable)Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English and/or FrenchYou need to have permit to live and work here in Spain and be available to start working as soon as possible.Why join usA permanent contract with Neotalent Conclusion and you will join the team of one of our main clients.You will be able to enjoy a flexible compensation plan (Restaurant Card, Transport Card, Childcare Vouchers, Private Medical Insurance), professional projection and training.First level international Projects (within oil&Gas and Energy)Multidiscipline and multicultural enviromentFlexible timetable from Monday to Friday (remote work at least 2 days per week)… and more!
