.) CNIC has been conceived to develop research of excellence, competitive and of international relevance in relation to cardiovascular diseases.
The CNIC has a research center of m 2, located in Madrid, with more than m 2  for laboratories equipped with a state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment.
Functions.
The selected candidate will perform research tasks in the context of the project “Identification of biomarkers to monitor the progression of Hutchinson Gilford progeria syndrome” (European Joint Program on Rare Disease , Ref.
AC) The selected candidate will design and perform experiments, analyze big data bases with biological parameters, disseminate results in oral presentations at seminars and scientific conferences, write scientific papers and applications for research projects or reports related to this project.
Project “AC", funded by Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) and co-funded by the European Union NextGenerationEU.
Mandatory Requirements.
PhD title in the Life Sciences field.
Master in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or related fields.
First or co-first authorship of at least 2 papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals.
At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in laboratories of biomedical research.
Minimum English level B2 (CEFR scales) demonstrated by official certificate in non-native English speakers.
Valuable Requirements.
C1.
Experience in omics (transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics, etc), biostatistics, and molecular biology.
C2.
Experience in programming languages and in the use of bioinformatic tools, software and analysis of big data bases with biological parameters.
C3.
Scientific papers.
