Start your future with BorgWarner now! Job Purpose BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven ” individual to join as a Power Switch Test Technician, eHW Innovation.
The Power Switch Test Technician, eHW Innovation is responsible for evaluation and validation of the heat sinks, power switches, and interfacing materials used within BorgWarner’s Power Electronics products.
Key Responsibilities Perform assigned laboratory tests under direction of engineers, ranging from moderate to high degrees of complexity on electrical/mechanical components and assemblies Assemble hardware samples and assist in hardware checkout and verification testing Build and/or modify product and equipment harnesses and cabling Lead procurement of necessary equipment to complete engineering-defined test setups Lead assembly of bench setups to complete engineering-defined test plans Lead troubleshooting and maintenance of lab equipment Move progress forward on multiple projects simultaneously without direct supervisor involvement Work cross functionally with other groups to overcome issues/constraints and complete difficult tasks Conduct experiments, record data, and formally report the results to internal customers and engineers, with a high degree of quality and professionalism Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and orderly lab environment Model BorgWarner’s beliefs What We’re Looking For High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred 8+ years of practical, hands-on laboratory experience required Direct experience writing and debugging LabView code Direct experience building and debugging laboratory fixtures Demonstrated problem solving and technical debug skills What We Offer Medical and Prescription Drug Insurance Dental and Vision Insurance Retirement Savings Plan (401k) Life Insurance Paid Parental Leave Adoption & IVF Assistance Company Paid Holidays Company Paid Vacation Tuition Assistance Onsite Wellness Center with Nurse Practitioner Hybrid Work Environment What We Believe Inclusion - We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences.
