The project aims to develop a biological solution for reducing CO 2 emissions from bioenergy combustion systems by converting captured CO 2 into carbon-negative energy carriers.
It focuses on using photosynthesis to turn biogenic CO 2 into energy-rich biomass, which can then be transformed into renewable energy sources like biocrude and biogas, with renewable hydrogen added to promote carbon circularity.
