PROCESS ENGINEER

A pioneering and market-leading company in the production of natural ingredients for various industries, with over 50 years of experience, is looking to hire a Process Engineer to join its team. The company specializes in manufacturing and marketing innovative, high-quality solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic sectors, among others.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Quality control for raw material reception (seaweed, husks, and carob): evaluation of functionality, yield, and supplier qualification.Batch classification of raw materials for extract production.Monitoring production on extract manufacturing lines.Tracking performance objectives and daily production targets (kg/day).Defining and parameterizing extraction and milling processes.Developing requested R&D projects.Researching and continuously improving manufacturing processes.Collaborating with the engineering department on the expansion and redesign of production processes.Managing production-related tasks, including generating data and documentation, in cooperation with the production manager, QC department, and the rest of the Process Engineering team.Conducting extraction trials, generating data, and documenting selected R&D projects in collaboration with the production manager and the Process Engineering team.What We’re Looking For:Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemistry.Master’s in Industrial Processes is a plus.Proven experience in implementing process improvements, from development to implementation and monitoring.Demonstrable ability to create detailed material and energy balances.Experience in product development.Experience in process descriptions and functional analysis.Knowledge of quality tools and Lean production processes.Ability to integrate into multidisciplinary teams and manage process improvement projects.Preferred Knowledge and Skills:Handling solids, transport processes, milling, and mixing.Thermal energy production systems, boilers, and water treatment.Fluid pumping systems, heat exchange, and drying processes.Industrial processes in the food sector.What We Offer:Permanent contract.Flexible Compensation Plan.Continuous training opportunities.Access to LinkedIn Learning platform.Daily Health and Wellness program at our office.English classes.30 calendar days of vacation per year.An exceptional work environment and a multicultural team.
