PROJECT HEALTH SAFETY ENVIRONMENT MANAGER

About the Company: TSK is a global company specialized in innovative technologies that contribute to a more sustainable development at an international level, providing solutions for different industry sectors such as electrical infrastructures, industrial plants, power generation plants (conventional or renewable), Gas to Power, water treatment plants or storage and handling facilities for raw materials.We are currently looking for a professional for the position of HSE Manager for an industrial project that we are executing in Mozambique.Roles:Supporting the Project Manager for all HSE matters;Establishing a strategy for the implementation of the various elements of the HSE Plan and ensuring that it is communicated to the workforce;Liaising with Company HSE Representative in order to ensure the fulfilment of the contractual requirements;Supporting the Discipline Supervisors in the preparation of the JSAs and in their effective communication to the interested team;Supporting the Project Director/ Manager in the analysis and acceptance of each Subcontractor HSE Plan / HSE ProcedureMonitoring the effective implementation of the HSE MS through planned HSE audits/inspections;Notifying Company, and Contractor Corporate HSE Dept. of any HSE related incident;Participating in the investigation and analysis of accidents, incidents, and Near Misses according to the Incident Investigation procedure;Ensuring that suitable and sufficient Medical structure is available at Site in order to face the medical emergencies as well as providing support on health issues;Submitting all relevant HSE related reports in accordance with the Company and Contractor Reporting Procedure.Developing the Project HSE plan and main HSE procedures specific for the project in compliance with Client expectations and requirements;Participating in the periodical internal meeting and third parties meeting (client, local authority, etc..) and issuing the necessary documents;Identifying HSE needs including the analysis of audit trends and incident and injury data applicable to the SoW;Tracking closure of HSE hazards/risk mitigation actions including those from incident investigations, verifications, audits and inspections;Consolidating and making available to Company Project HSE KPI’s, leading and lagging indicators;Communicating, encouraging and reinforcing the Stop Work Authority;Coaching of Management, Supervision and workforce about Safety Procedures and Safe Work Practices.Monitoring the effective implementation of Contractor policies.Requirements:Nebosh National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years experience working on a construction site in a similar management role.Willingness to travel abroad.English skills.
