It’s not just about growing the bottom line; it’s about growing together, hand in hand with the community we serve.About the role:We are seeking a highly skilled PMO (Project Management Office) Consultant to join ( on a contractor basis) our team and lead the establishment of a robust PMO within our IT function. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up governance frameworks, processes, and controls to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to design and implement best practices, drive project excellence, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:Establish and implement PMO governance, standards, and methodologies for IT projects.Develop processes and tools for project planning, tracking, reporting, and risk management.Ensure adherence to project management best practices and compliance with organizational policies.Provide guidance and support to project managers and teams in applying PMO processes.Monitor project performance and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with senior management to align projects with strategic objectives.Train and mentor staff on PMO tools, techniques, and methodologies.Qualifications:Proven experience in establishing or managing a PMO, particularly within an IT function.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to drive change and foster a culture of project management excellence.VASS is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
