QA ENGINEER

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced QA engineer to join one of our Scrum teams in a full-time, permanent position in Valencia. In this role, you will test the applications developed by the team and validate their integration with components developed by other teams. You will also contribute to improving the testing methodology and the CI/CD processes as a QA Lead.What You’ll DoFunctional and performance testing of the applications developed by the Scrum teamIntegration testing of 3rd-party componentsDefinition of the test strategy and management of test plans Analysis of user stories and definition of test casesExecution of manual tests and implementation of automated testsManagement of test configurations and test data setsMaintenance of test benches and continuous integration systemsGeneration of test reportsManagement of defectsContribute to improving the testing methodology of the teamRequired Technical SkillsExperience in functional and performance testingExperience in testing microservices-based applicationsExperience in testing in continuous delivery environmentsExperience with bug tracking and test management tools, like Gitlab and JiraExperience with automation tools and frameworks: Robot Framework, JMeterExperience with CI/CD tools, like Gitlab and JenkinsKnowledge of scripting languages: Python, sh/bash, PowershellKnowledge of SQL languagesLinux and Windows OS knowledgeKnowledge of container runtimes and Kubernetes (test applications deployed on Kubernetes)Required AptitudesWillingness to work in a highly team-oriented environmentAbility to analyze technical challenges and propose solutions with autonomyGood written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility and adaptability to work in changing environmentsInitiative to bring new ideas and propose improvementsMust havePertinent experience: +/- 3 to 5 years experience in the fieldLanguage requirements: Fluent in English and SpanishEducation: BS/MS Telecommunications or Computer Science Master Degree or equivalent
