QA ENGINEER

LORIOT is an innovative and growing company looking for a QA Engineer to expand our Testing and Quality Assurance team. We seek a highly motivated candidate with passion about Internet Of Things technologies and who can actively contribute to the development and enhancement of our core products.  Key Responsibilities:Conduct ad-hoc testing with real IoT hardwareUnderstand customers workflows and complex data stream scenariosInvestigate and reproduce issues reported by customersProactively report functional bugs or potential security threatsContribute to the development of an IoT network simulatorContribute to the product with new ideas to improve customer experienceImplement API automated testsImplement frontend automated testsAct as a bridge between engineering team and product teamUnderstand technical specifications of hardware and communication protocolsContribute to the company knowledge base by writing technical documentationRequirements and Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related fieldPassion for Internet Of Things, LPWAN technologies and embedded systemsFull proficiency with Linux command lineGood knowledge of GitAgile development methods & tools (JIRA)Critical thinkingFluent in EnglishOther desirable Qualifications:Experience in test plan creation, automation and quality processesExperience in working on large-scale SaaS productsGood knowledge of technologies such as Typescript / NodeJS / MongoDB / Redis / DockerGood understanding of communication protocols such as MQTT, WebSocket, HTTPExperience with testing tools like Postman / Selenium / MochaMicrocontrollers programming What we offer: Flexible compensation matching your experience, perks and benefitsFlat hierarchy and appreciation of individual workFlexible working hoursTrust, autonomy and space for personal initiativesVisibility of your work world-wideWe support you in building a personal brand in the IoT spacePartially remote work is possibleWorking with motivated, passionate people and an international environmentWorking with exciting, state-of-the-art technology for the Internet of Things
