QA MANAGER

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a seasoned Lead QA Engineer with a strong background in QA processes and tools to join our dynamic team in Barcelona.About the positionResponsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, including test suites, for various stages of the software development lifecycle.Lead the QA team, including external QA engineers, to ensure consistent and thorough testing of all products.Manage and maintain QA tools and frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.Coordinate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure robust and reliable test plans.Conduct regular audits of QA processes and implement improvements to optimize performance.Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests to ensure the highest quality standards are met.Ensure thorough testing on various platforms including desktop, mobile and game consoles.Document and track software defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.Stay current with emerging QA trends and tools to continually improve the QA process.About youEssential: At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Proven experience in generating and maintaining test suites.Hands-on experience with leading QA tools (Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc.).Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Nice to have: Passion for video games and gaming technology.Experience in the gaming industry, specifically in testing games on various platforms including PS, Switch, and Xbox.Knowledge of blockchain technology and its application in gaming.Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, C#).Fluency in Spanish is a plus.Experience with automated testing and tools like Selenium.Experience with performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.Benefits30 days of paid holiday.A vibrant start-up atmosphere with complimentary coffee & fruit, social events, and a modern office environment.An innovation-driven work culture.Opportunity to work with a top-tier team of video game professionals, including former founders of leading industry companies.Be a part of the development of the Web3 future.Important: No recruiters. Think your skills match up?
