QA MANAGER

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Manager to join our team.You will be responsible for leading and managing the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure all software products meet the highest quality standards. Your role will be crucial in defining and executing testing strategies, driving continuous improvement in QA processes, and collaborating with other teams to ensure effective integration of testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle. This position requires a combination of technical, managerial and leadership skills to guide your team towards success.Key ResponsibilitiesQA Team Leadership: Manage, mentor and motivate the QA team, ensuring they have the resources, tools and support needed to perform their tasks effectively.QA Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies that cover all aspects of the product, including functional, performance, and security testing.Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to coordinate QA activities, ensuring that deadlines and quality objectives are met.Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance QA processes, implementing best practices and new tools to optimize team efficiency and effectiveness.Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively across various projects, ensuring each initiative has the necessary support to meet quality goals.Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee the progress of QA activities, reporting the status of testing, defects, and risks to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.Training and Development: Promote the professional growth of team members through ongoing training, mentoring, and fostering a learning environment.Required SkillsExperience: Minimum of 7 years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role, preferably in complex software development environments.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of software testing methodologies (manual and automated) with experience in implementing testing frameworks across different environments.Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level or higher), with the ability to present clear and concise reports to technical and non-technical audiences.Management Tools: Experience with project and QA management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and others to track and manage testing progress.Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, with skills in conflict resolution, informed decision-making, and guiding the team towards achieving objectives.Quality Focus: Rigorous focus on quality, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact the final product.Desired SkillsTest Automation: Experience in implementing and managing test automation strategies using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript or Python, beneficial for collaborating with development and automation teams.Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate risks related to product quality, ensuring potential issues are addressed before deployment.Certifications: QA or project management certifications (e.g., ISTQB, PMP, CSM) that demonstrate a commitment to professional excellence.CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and how they integrate into the testing lifecycle.
