Siemens Rail Automation as a leader in state-of-the-art technology for the Railway Signalling sector, continues to develop products and solutions for the satisfaction of its customers and that is why for the R&D Dept.
we would like to get on board a R&D Railway ITV Engineer Main Line projects Main tasks and responsabilities.
• Integration, test and validation engineer in R&D department.
• Design and test verification for the ERTMS/ECTS L2 trackside system.  • Specification, execution and test analysis for the system integration in laboratory environment.
• Specification, execution and black box testing on both pc based and target environment.
• Development and updating of auxiliary software tools to meet the project needs.
• Maintenance of the configuration control and of the traceability of the different elements throughout the lifecycle of the product.
• International and multidisciplinary team working.
Requirements:  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably in electrical / electronic).
• At least 2 years’ experience as tester or integrator.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
python, C++ or ADA.
• Knowledge of requirement management tools (as DOORS).
• Knowledge of Jira, GitLab, Confluence and agile methodology.
• Signaling knowledge.
ERTMS L2.
• Knowledge on CENELEC standards for RAMS EN, EN, EN, EN will be appreciated.
• Strong self-motivated person with natural focus on target achievements.
• High level of communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English.
• Self-confident, proactive, analytical thinking.
