VP September CONSTRUCTION AND AUXILIARY REAL ESTATE FUNCTIONS At Catenon, we are looking for a Sales and Tendering Engineer for our client, a major multinational engineering company based in Barcelona.
To offer technical and commercial support from Barcelona office to the Water and Industrial Business Unit activities related to Italy and Portugal by developing technical and commercial offers to customers, taking into account customer specifications, in order to increase as much as possible the “conversion to order” ratio.
Your main tasks and responsibilities.
Prepare quotations (careful reading customer’s specifications, selection of adequate products, TOA, 10 GR, COSP, ME, STARS, Salesforce, price calculation, quotation making with precise deviation list, etc.).
Quotations follow up and reporting (Salesforce).
Negotiations and participation in clarification and kick off meetings.
Orders (acknowledgement, clear syntheses, launching (SAP), delivery time follow up, invoices & payments follow up, warranties opening & follow up).
Follow up of projects from tendering to financial closure.
Maintain and execute customer order backlog for assigned territories / accounts.
To succeed in this role, you will need.
Diploma in engineering or similar.
Minimum professional experience in similar roles.
5 years.
High level Intermediate user of Microsoft Office.
Previous experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
Previous experience with a CRM handling, preferably Salesforce.
Experience in sales support functions.
Good negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills.
English (mandatory).
Spanish (mandatory).
Italian and Portuguese (highly valuable).
