Are you ready to make an impact? Ecolab is searching for a Business Development Manager within our Institutional Division that provides a comprehensive program of customized cleaning and sanitizing solutions to help meet the specific needs of restaurants, hotels and long-term care facilities, schools and commercial buildings.
The successful candidate will acquire new customers through the identification, prioritization, strategic analysis, and sales plan development/execution.
Business development will require working closely with marketing, divisional leadership & CAM team to develop and execute growth strategies by market segment.
What you will do.
Drive new customer acquisition directly and through key distributors Manage significant deal volume and target account pipelines Develop and execute strategic sales plans based on the market segment & geography Implement sales strategy, incentive & training programs to deliver distributor growth strategy Leverage Ecolab innovations to acquire new customers, increase market share and secure customer loyalty Leverage knowledge of industry and sales experience to establish credibility with current and prospective customers Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management's strategic decision-making, and to reflect appropriate management of the territory and sales pipeline Collaborate with internal stakeholders to win new business Act as account manager for won accounts and coordinate retention strategy with District & Territory Managers Minimum Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree major in food science, marketing, business administration.

5 years of experience in a business-to-business field sales environment Fluent level of Spanish and English Strong customer service skills and integrity with extraordinary ability to develop relationships with senior customer decision makers within chain accounts Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Sound commercial business understanding, incl.
financial acumen, analytical ability Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand what the customer needs Good organization and planning skills with a high attention to detail Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Customer relationship management software, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications.
Bachelor or above degree, major in food science, marketing, business administration will be preferred.
