This position will have 2 key responsibilities.
Will act as the lead technical contact with the customer - providing technical, design, and product application guidance to meet their needs.
Will lead test coordination on a large scale and complex development program, acting as the coordinator between the Product Development team and the Technical Center.
In addition, the person in this role.
Takes ownership of their program and act as a leader for the team.

Functions as primary liaison between the Customer, Product Development, Technical Center, and the supporting swim lanes.
Functions as the lead test coordinator between the PD Engineering team and the Technical Center on a large-scale development program Advocates for customer requirements and requests.
Forecasts, drives, and negotiates realistic customer requirements and protects the project from scope creep Communicates clearly and effectively with the customer on internal activities, and drives them to meet conclusions in the best interests of our company Communicates issues, opportunities, and customer activity to internal leadership Applies technologies developed by Product Development to real world customer applications Learns, understands, and follows internal processes designed to drive results for the program Uses interpersonal skills to resolve personnel and priority conflicts Able to understand complex topics and can communicate them simply and concisely Desires learning through instruction, questioning, and hands on application Maintains accurate and current records of sales and engineering activities.
Directs and applies resources pertinent to product development projects.
Able to assemble information from various sources and derives action plans to achieve project goals.
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS.
Requires a BSME or equivalent with 5+ years of engineering/sales/marketing experience or a master’s degree in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree.
Master's Degree preferred Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have an understanding of.
Pro-E drafting software and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing; diesel and/or gasoline engine performance and emissions characteristics; component casting and machining design and manufacturing requirements; and application of turbochargers and related components.
Experience in organizing, monitoring, and summarizing product development tests for internal decision and guidance, and customer updates.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) Ability to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
