SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Position Title: Senior Business Development/Portfolio ManagerAbout: Discover International are working closely with a leading global pharmaceutical company dedicated to providing high-quality, innovative healthcare solutions. Their portfolio encompasses both specialty pharmaceuticals and consumer health products, aiming to enhance the well-being of patients around the world.Role Overview: As a Senior Business Development/ Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, ensure accuracy and reliability in all analytical assessments and reporting, and driving revenue growth. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge and strong business acumen to expand their market presence and achieve their long-term business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Evaluating new commercial opportunities within the specialty pharmaceuticals sector, with a focus on innovative treatments for rare diseasesDeveloping comprehensive forecasts and deal models to support business decisionsCollaborate closely with the business development team and expert functions to align on strategic objectives and drive project successScreen and monitor ongoing developments in therapeutic areas of interest to identify potential opportunitiesPresent findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear, concise, and effective mannerEnsure accuracy and reliability in all analytical assessments and reportingMaintain high levels of motivation and resilience, demonstrating the ability to transition seamlessly between projectsQualifications:PhD or Medical Degree required.Experience in healthcare investment banking or consulting, or a similar role in innovative pharmaceutical industryExceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detailHigh proficiency in EnglishDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively and deliver high-quality resultsStrong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex messages simply and effectively to senior managementFor more information please contact akil.walton@discoverinternational.com
