SENIOR IT MANAGER - M&A

Senior IT Manager - M&AKey Responsibilities:Establish a formal IT support function for M&A transactions, collaborating closely with finance, business, and technology teams.Develop a comprehensive IT playbook for M&A, ensuring consistent and scalable processes.Serve as the key liaison between internal M&A teams, IT functions, and external partners, coordinating efforts across all areas.Oversee IT involvement across the full spectrum of M&A activities (both acquisitions and divestitures), working closely with all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.Provide input for IT-related investment and divestment decisions, ensuring they align with the organisation’s broader strategic objectives.Create and manage timelines for IT integration or separation projects, ensuring that business goals are fully supported and systems are either smoothly integrated or separated as required.Lead confidential due diligence processes, producing detailed IT assessments of potential acquisition targets.Analyse and communicate the implications of M&A decisions on IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring alignment between business and technology.Coordinate tasks related to Transitional Service Agreements (TSA), ensuring all obligations are fulfilled.Stay up to date with industry developments, adopting best practices in IT and M&A support.Skills and Qualifications:A minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT M&A support or a similar role within a large multinational company, or a background in strategic consulting.Bachelor's or Master’s degree (preferably) in IT, finance, or a related field.In-depth knowledge of IT governance and strategy, including experience in systems integration and separation.Proven experience developing and implementing M&A playbooks, with a demonstrated track record in this area.Strong expertise across the full M&A lifecycle, including both acquisitions and divestitures, as well as experience with managing TSAs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Flexibility to travel where required, with occasional short-notice.
