SENIOR MANAGER - BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence manages other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.
This role collaborates with GSP functions on internal business intelligence strategies and supports organizational objectives and business goals.
The Senior Manager manages initiatives, timelines, approvals, and plans.
The role directs activities for strategic business intelligence initiatives and serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities.
Manages other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.
Develops a BI roadmap and detailed project plan that will support organizational priorities.
Collaborates and extensively investigates business information needs based on a strong understanding of business processes, drivers, and priorities.
Communicates direction for Business Intelligence (BI) processes to managers, supervisors, and individual contributors, and ensures methods align with organizational goals and objectives.
Coaches team members to ensure the seamless integration of data modeling techniques.
Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, legal and company policies and procedures.
Collaborates with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organizations profitability and competitive position, utilizing market intelligence, risk assessments, and total cost projections.
Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned area of responsibility.
Supports development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned area of responsibility.
Creates Value by developing strong, value-added working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers with a view to pro-actively understand and constructively influence their needs and expectations.
Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
Qualifications Education.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required An MBA or further advanced degree is desirable.
Experience and Skills.
Required.
8-10 years of Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant business experience Prior experience of leading large teams in a complex matrixed structure and managing key stakeholders internally and externally in a service delivery environment Strategic mindset.
Disciplined data-oriented thinking to be able plan for long term.
Collaboration, Communication & Influencing Skills.
Should be regarded as a constructive player representing Business Intelligence and overall procurement in various teams within the company and outside.
Should have the requisite communication skills to communicate & influence objectives and then develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally to achieve them.
Learning Agility & Openness to Change Fluency in English (written and oral) is required.
Preferred.
Good understanding of Sourcing and Contracting processes and Source-to-settle operations at a high level is preferred.
Experience in one or more Procurement Functional domains.
Sourcing including negotiation of commercial and non-commercial terms, Category management, R2P or Accounts Payable Shared Services Industry experience is preferred.
Fluency in one other language ((written and oral) for the supported region is preferred.
Other.
Requires up to 5% domestic and international travel.
