SENIOR MANAGER - CLOUD ARCHITECTURE

Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with global Vodafone business objectives, considering factors such as scalability, cost efficiency, performance, and security.
Cloud & API Gateway Architecture.
Define and maintain the overall cloud architecture, including the selection of appropriate cloud and API platforms, services, and frameworks.
Ensure architectural consistency across different cloud environments (public, private, hybrid).
Infrastructure Design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions and containerization technologies to host cloud native and cloud ready solutions.
Security and Compliance.
Establish robust security measures and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Implement secure access controls, data encryption, vulnerability management, and incident response protocols.
Cost Optimization.
Develop strategies to optimize cloud resource allocation, monitor usage patterns, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Drive initiatives to optimize cloud costs.
Performance Monitoring.
Define and implement performance monitoring and management practices for cloud-based applications and services.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and optimization opportunities.
Who you are Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (8+ years) in designing and implementing cloud solutions, preferably in a technical leadership role, Strong knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong knowledge and experience with API Gateway solutions such as Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, I n-depth understanding of cloud architecture patterns, principles, and best practices.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
