SENIOR MANAGER MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes and systems to ensure efficient and high-quality production of goods. The candidate should definitely have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.How You Will Do It:Functional objectives:• Plan and lead projects with the target to develop series production under consideration of qualitative, financial, technical and temporal requirements• Provide manufacturing engineering knowledge to product innovation process to build manufacturing suitability into new product design and develop new equipmentMain Tasks:• Report related to professional and project subjects• Manufacture feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA on new products• Write specifications for manufacturing equipment and make recommendations for equipment procurement• Check of CAD drawings and models according to customer specific requirements and Clarios standard rules• Ensure the fulfilment of specifications (SOW).• Is responsible for subprojects in the technical, timing and budget areas. Technical support within selection of suppliers and make-or-buy-decisions (ensure the cost-profit-relationship)• Subproject management of advanced manufacturing projects at the plant.• Coordinate installation and commissioning of machines which includes the interface to plant layouts, communication with suppliers and final machine acceptance as well as design and process validation builds.• Support the internal project team, in coordination with Production and Maintenance.• Select, inform, motivate and promote subordinate employees within projects• Responsible for the creation and/or cooperation of/to the realisation of Bill-of-Material, drawings and documentationDocumentation:• Creating of complete documentation for machines and equipment (i.e. Manuals, Data collection, Translation, Training Hand-Outs)• Administration of documentation (i.e. database)• Preparing of CE declarations (i.e. compile risk analysis)What We Look For• Required qualificationsIndustrial Engineer or comparable qualificationMinimum 5 years industrial environment, ideally in metallurgicMS Office ( Advanced knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Word)Product knowledgeQuality & Project ManagementSix Sigma skillsKnowledge in law, machine compliance, and CE specificationsSpanish bilingualAdvanced English communication skills (C1)Your workplace will be either in Spain (Medina del Campo, Valladolid.)• Preferred qualificationsSAP experience FI / COProficiency in software packages such as computer-aided design CAD 2D/3DAbility to work well under pressureStrong leadership & project management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving goals and objectives and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
