Develop and implement supply chain models, policies, standards, guidelines, technology, and procedures Keep track of inventories (raw materials and finished goods) and ensure material availability when needed Monitor expenditure of department's budget allocations Analyze changes in the inventory of material and finished goods relating to supply/demand Communicate relevant information to appropriate management Maintain relationships with key customers Manage capacity planning requirements for the site, including business supply needs, new production pipeline volume builds, and other plant project work Foster connections with planning partners throughout the process to ensure a cohesive flow of information and a comprehensive approach to achieving significant metrics.
Partner with Sourcing/Category to drive supplier performance improvements Ensure the accuracy and improvement of planning and inventory management systems (master data accuracy) to achieve advanced business process technology.
Manage the planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing through a team of planners and schedulers Maintain compliance with company policies regarding all safety and Quality regulations Provide a supply feedback loop based on constraining net requirements plan due to site/EM capacity and resource constraints Collaborate with engineering, materials, manufacturing, marketing, and finance teams to minimize obsolescence excess and decrease exposure to slow-moving materials during the introduction of new products and phasing out of old products.
Improve profitability through process improvements and utilization of resources Analyze monthly performance results and facilitate appropriate actions to achieve business goals Represent global planning on the site leadership team Qualifications Qualifications Education.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree specifically in Business, Engineering or related field preferred Experience and Skills.
Required.
          Minimum eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience Experience in any of the following areas.
materials, managing inventory, forecasting demand, planning capacity, and/or Supply Chain Ability to develop, coach, and lead a team of buyer/planners in the execution, strategic, and realization of departmental and company goals Preferred.
Master scheduling (MPS), capacity planning (CRP), material planning (MRP), and Inventory control experience International materials management experience Experience in using OMP & SAP software and overseeing freight forwarding operations Experience with materials management function in a multi-site environment Ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading cross-functional/virtual teams Other.
