SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - IE _VOIS

Role purpose.
To support key strategic growth areas, Vodafone Business requires a highly capable and experienced project manager to run multiple product development and launch programs supporting a diverse range of products within Vodafone Business around eight main portfolios.
Connectivity, SDN, Cloud, SAAS, Unified Comms, Mobility, Voice, and Security.
This role is responsible for managing all product development projects and programmes, working with our IT and platform colleagues to ensure that people, process, and technology work in harmony to deliver a positive customer and service experience.
We engage and work with key business stakeholders to ensure that our products deliver the right business outcomes.
Product development projects work across multiple workstreams including IT, Go To Market, Sales Enablement, Customer Journey process deliverables, friendly user trials and associated regulatory accountability.
This role will also work to improve our project management approach and support moving from a wholly waterfall approach to a hybrid waterfall/agile methodology identifying appropriate digital enablement where appropriate.
The role requires expert collaboration & stakeholder management especially up to senior management and will also support a Junior Project manager in the execution of their duties.
Key accountabilities   •    The job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.
•    Acts as a Go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
•    Develop detailed project plans, ensure resource availability/allocation and delivering every project on time within the budget and scope.
•    Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
•    Specific project manager responsibilities include implementation, deployment of Services to deliver agreed solution.
•    Responsible for tracking key project milestones and deliverables from multiple teams / individuals •    Act as a point of contact for projects as necessary to help manage delivery/implementation.
•    Adhere to change management processes to ensure implementations are controlled and managed with minimal impact to the business.
•    Advanced escalation, especially in relation to senior management and challenging delays encouraging stakeholders to find innovative solutions.
Knowledge and Experience •    +8 years of project management experience in a technology organisation •    Proven track record of building and delivering to agreed scheduled timelines.
•    Strong communication skills – written & verbal.
•    Time & Customer focused.
•    Strong business acumen and proactive approach •    Highly confident and self-motivated •    Multitasking - Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Skillset/Tools.
•    Great educational background, in the field of computer science or engineering •    Project management (PRINCE2/PMP/Agile) •    Proficient in Microsoft tools, including MS Project •    Knowledge of document management systems •    Excellent client facing and internal communication skills.
•    Strong communication and decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting needs.
•    Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
