SENIOR PURCHASING SPECIALIST

What is it like to be a Purchasing Specialist at DHV Technology?As a Purchasing Specialist at DHV Technology, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the acquisition of materials through strategic negotiations with various suppliers, evaluating alternative components, and ensuring efficient execution of procurement processes. Your work will directly contribute to the seamless operations of the company, helping us achieve our ambitious goals in the aerospace sector.Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers/components and propose them for assessment by Engineering/Quality teams.Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate comprehensive agreements where applicable.Develop and manage a supplier database, including delivery timelines, pricing, and capabilities.Analyze project bill of materials and requests for proposals (RFPs), providing critical insights.Initiate RFPs with relevant suppliers and manage received proposals.Negotiate all aspects with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and conditions.Conduct comparative analysis of supplier proposals and recommend optimal options.Facilitate internal approval processes for proposals.Prepare purchase orders in SAP and communicate them to suppliers.Propose improvements to procurement processes.Education and Requirements:To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are required:Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Aeronautical Engineering or Economics.Preferred: Master's degree in Procurement Management.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement.
