We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Specialist in Taxation with 3-5 years of experience.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Indirect Tax, particularly the GST Compliance, and demonstrate hands-on experience in preparing various GST returns and related reconciliations.
This position is crucial for ensuring compliance with GST regulations and providing insightful tax-related support across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities.
GST Expertise.
Demonstrate strong expertise in Indirect Tax and be proficient with the GST portal.
Prepare various GST returns and perform GST-related reconciliations, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ISD, Cross Charge, and reconciliation with GSTR-2B.
Responsible for filing Annual Return, including GSTR 9 and GSTR 9C.
Assist internal and external teams with GST-related issues.
Regulatory Compliance.
Review GST notices and prepare data for replies.
Represent the company before GST Authorities and run tax assessments and audits.
Review tax accounting, provisions, and litigation matters.
Process Automation & Efficient System Use.
Continuously automate processes to improve efficiency.
Demonstrate efficiency in working with SAP for tax-related processes.
Liaise with internal teams and external consultants to ensure smooth operations.
Experience Requirements.
Required.
3-5 years of experience in taxation with a strong focus on Indirect Tax and GST.
Proven hands-on experience in preparing GST returns and related reconciliations.
Experience in filing annual GST returns and handling GST assessments and audits.
Proficiency in SAP.
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory   Preferred.
Experience with process automation for tax-related activities.
Prior experience in representation before GST Authorities and handling tax-related litigation.
