**Job Description** AECOM Spain **Building Services Engineering team** is a highly qualified group of professionals experts in offering the best solutions to international client\us needs all around the world.
Our building services engineers are at the forefront of their discipline for the design of the mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems required for the safe, comfortable and environmentally friendly operation of buildings.
We embrace world class methodologies and technologies, including information rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.
Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for a **Smart Building Systems Engineer** to further develop his/her experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects.
These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors, including among others.
Data Centers, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial, and Defense.
As a **Smart Building Systems Engineer** you will design and delivery different **building facilities** projects within **Telecom Infrastructure** discipline.
Public Address/Voice Alarm, Building Management System, Video Surveillance System, Access Control System, Intrusion Detection System, among others.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate in medium to high complex projects within an international context.
This will be your main activities.
+ Produce detailed design information, including calculations, schematic drawings, technical reports, and specifications.
+ Attend design team meetings.
+ Collaborate with the architecture team to provide the spatial requirements for telecom systems.
+ Coordinate the design with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to provide the connectivity and functionality requirements of the systems.
+ Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
+ Identifies discrepancies in results.
+ Contributes to the development of technical proposals.
**Qualifications** + Bachelor\us degree (B.
.) in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Technology with specialization in Telecommunications or Control Systems and, at least, 2 years\u experience **designing Telecom Infrastructure systems for different kind of building facilities projects**.
+ Fluency in English and Spanish will be essential, verbal and written.
+ Knowledge and/or experience in any of the following graphic design software is desired.
VISIO / AUTOCAD / REVIT.
+ Previous international experience will be highly valued.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft office.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
+ Strong technical drawing skills and eye for detail.
