Position Overview SW Eng (Dev) IV   Position Overview.
IGT is seeking a senior level Software Engineer to design, implement, test and support innovative, high quality systems application software for use in casino environments.
Responsibilities Applicant must be able to solve software engineering problems in a resourceful and effective manner, while maintaining robust software engineering solutions that adhere to design principles and anticipate future product features.
This position requires the applicant to have a deep understanding of web application architectures and web frameworks like Vue and Angular.
The successful applicant will work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment to develop web products through the software lifecycle, from requirements through deployment, and may investigate escalated field issues as needed.
The applicant must be able to interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources of input and communicate expectations clearly and concisely to management/peers/clients.
Applicant must be able to lead and mentor other engineers locally and in remote offices.
Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent  Minimum of 8 years of experience with 3+ years of Angular exp.
in software engineering  Experience developing and delivering single-page applications for web and mobile  Experience with use and design of Vue or Angular web framework, WebSockets  Deep knowledge of Web domain, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and HTML  Knowledge of testing tools such as Protractor, Jasmine, Karma  Familiarity with UX design patterns such as MVC and variants thereof  Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, JQuery  Experience with UML and other software modeling tools  Experience with version control systems (git or equivalent)   Experience with the Agile process and Kanban tools  Experience in writing reusable, highly configurable, extendable, backward compatible, responsive, highly perform and testable UI components and JS libraries.
Must have good written and verbal communications, be self-motivated, and work well in a team environment.
Must be at least 21.
Must be able to obtain a gaming card.
Occasional travel required.
