The Senior SW Development Engineer, develop a role as a Full-stack, being involved in all stages and all areas of software development, including Test as well as architecture design, code review, and internal tool management.They are responsible for developing and implementing front-end and back-end software applications, including back-end design, testing, and systems integration.In Werfen, Clinical Software Business Unit, we are committed to developing secure, efficient, and innovative clinical applications and laboratory instrumentation systems. Our solutions enhance patient care and facilitate the management of information in hospitals and laboratories around the world.You will be part of a team that develops and maintains an interoperability application that uses standard healthcare protocols to ease the integration of Werfen products within the hospitality infrastructure or medical devices. You will be able to interact with Werfen staff from all over the world helping to consolidate and delight Werfen customers.Key AccountabilitiesBe a key part of a team where you will:Performs software engineering activities including software requirements, architecture, design, implementation and test independentlyLead software development activities within projects at technical or at project levelDeveloping SW following company procedures. Able to complete somewhat ambiguous problems and defect fixing with its corresponding testWorks across the full stack (front and backend), building scalable solutions that drive positive user experiences and measurable business impactDevelops new software features and infrastructure elements in support of priority business and solution requirements.Ensures application performance, uptime, risk mitigation, scalability, and high code/application qualityUses agile engineering practices and various software development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the organization’s technology stackCollaborates with other squad members to implement user stories, write unit and integration tests, and continuously deliver new/improved product functionality.Will design and build software that is simple and scalable. Will write maintainable code.Will be able to able to review and give feedback for technical and architecture documentation.Will know your project in a low complexity level, enough to cover your work autonomously and the environment where it works with some detail.Will able to work autonomously, however you know when you have to consult the experts on the issues that appear on the projectsMinimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:Education: Engineer, computer Science or other Technical degree, or equivalent work experienceApproximately 3-7 years of related experience.Extensive knowledge and experience (3-7 years) of back-end languages and frameworks (C#, ASP.NET) and unit testing (NUnit)Knowledge and experience (3-5 years) on front-end technologies like Angular, TypeScript and Karma/Jasmine.Knowledge and experience (3-5 years) on HTML layout technologies like CSS, Flex.Experience dealing with Design Principles and Patterns (e.g. SOLID) and Test Patterns.Experience with issue tracking, troubleshooting, defect management, version control and automated pipeline systems. (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)Valuable:Experience working implementing or analyzing healthcare protocols like HL7, LIS2-1A, HL7-FHIR, POCT1A.Experience with SQL Server (querying and securing databases)Experience with systems integrations (designing, consuming) at API level (e.g. WebServices, RESTApi)Experience with laboratory or analytical workflowsKnowledge of Medical Device RegulationsKnowledge of Privacy RegulationsSkills & Capabilities:The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit the following skills and competencies:Understand the impact of a feature.
