What you’ll do   As a software engineer at Vodafone your primary responsibility is to develop and support our web applications.
ensuring that they are operational, performant and of the highest quality.
This role is targeted towards passionate developers, who are enthusiastic and highly driven towards creating rich, user focused applications.
You will be responsible for the Delivery of technical solutions with clean, well-tested code.
You will be an active part of the engineering community team and collaborating with other engineers You will build cross-browser solutions optimized for a wide range of devices.
You will mentor team members and provide feedback and always be improving.
You will be working in an agile development environment and always be keen to find new ways of working.
Who you are  You will preferably have commercial experience with at least 1 popular web programming language such as JavaScript, Java, NodeJS.
You will have experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
You will showcase a strong ability to debug code.
You will preferably have experience with Git or other source control systems.
You will have knowledge of building performance driven websites with an understanding of network traffic, HTTP requests and other performance focused enhancements     Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
