Descripción The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education.
ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level.

Lugar Barcelona, Campus Mar WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ISGlobal is looking for a predoctoral researcher to work in the project SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D project, a 2-y private-public consortium aiming to measure and validate digital mobility outcomes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and hip fracture.
MAIN DUTIES AND TASKS Perform statistical analysis of clinical cohort data of people with neurological a nd respiratory diseases.
Perform statistical analysis of high-resolution mobility data (e.
., body sensors data).
Interpret and discuss the results with other SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D members.
Provide statistical support to the researchers of the team.
Participate to protocol writing and statistical analysis plan elaboration.
SECONDARY TASKS Contribute to data cleaning and management  Contribute to scientific publications, reports, and grant applications.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Degree on Biostatistics, Biomedicine or similar Training in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics.
Experience in biomedical data analysis  Experience in neurologic or respiratory diseases.
Experience in R and Python will be an asset SKILLS Excellent organization skills.
Teamplayer, yet capable of working autonomously, rational thinker.
