Our comprehensive, high-impact managed learning solutions weave together the best of learning theory, technology, operations, and services to enable a thriving workforce.Link to our LinkedIn Page - https://www.linkedin.com/company/niit-limited/Link to our website - https://www.niit.com/en/learning-outsourcing/Job Title - Strategic Sourcing LeadKey Responsibilities:Sourcing Lead to lead the sourcing activities for Germany, Austria, Spain and Italy Manage customer relationship with stakeholders in these regionsUnderstanding the training requirements of customers and sourcing the best training supplier in the marketManage good working relationships with the training suppliersObtaining quotes from different suppliers and creating standard bid summaries by assessing the quotesNegotiate on the proposals from training suppliers to provide customers with the most competitive pricing in the marketDevelop and deliver cost savings through implementing optimum sourcing strategiesWorking with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiationCoordinate multiple tasks and detailed activities in a time-intensive work environmentCorrespond with customer and training partners for all training delivery-related communications like dates and venue finalizing, registering the learner for training etcUse a data-driven approach to rationalize supplier baseMaintain data integrity among different systems internallyIdentify opportunities for operational excellence and cost-saving for customersFollow best practice processes, and suggest Lean opportunitiesExperience in working with suppliers in the Learning industry will be considered a strong plusExperience with sourcing in international markets and supplier quality assessmentStrong Negotiation skillsDemonstrated success in developing and fostering relationships with suppliers while driving lower costs, superior performance, and continuous improvementExperience in monitoring and managing work queuesProficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookStrong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentationSound time-management and organizational skillsAbility to use own initiative and pay close attention to detailCapable of hands-on problem-solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions.NIIT is an equal opportunity employer.
