STRATEGY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VO IS) and we’re looking for a     Strategy Management Specialist   (fixed term contract) Role purpose.
The role is responsible for understanding Vodafone Business strategy, market/technology trends, competitive landscape and, working with Senior Strategy Managers, employing this insight to create innovative, practical strategies that will drive growth across Vodafone Business.
The role will be responsible for demonstrating customer focus and external orientation to bring new ideas and thinking to Vodafone Business.
The role will employ tried and tested methodologies for gathering insight, reviewing strategic options and assessing the most attractive and practical medium and long-term steps for Vodafone Business that will drive profitable growth above market rates.

Manage and deliver assigned work within Vodafone Business strategy engagements, support the annual strategy review process, and develop fact-based insights and analyses on topics including connectivity, 5G, IoT, cloud, and security services, etc.
Develop strategic insights and recommendations for the Vodafone Business SLT and Operating Companies across all Lines of Business.
Conduct market, technology, competitor and product research on topics relevant for the Business strategy.
Define strategic guidelines for customer (CX), partner & ecosystem, GTM and commercial strategy for selected products and services reflecting the product portfolio strategy Contribute to the annual strategy review processes in close collaboration with Group Strategy and Commercial functions Contribute to development of thought leadership on selected topics of strategic relevance for Vodafone Business.

Identify opportunities to continually improve the market perception of key capabilities  The role will be an integrated part of the Vodafone Business Strategy team, attending half-yearly strategy events in the Group HQ (UK)     What you will bring to the team.
3+ years’ experience ideally within the IT, telecoms and/or high-tech space, and across a variety of business areas and strategic situations (preferably 2+ years in strategy development/consulting) Experience at formulating strategy as part of a product management/commercial/marketing position and/or through a management consulting/strategy role Exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, integrity, respect for confidentiality, sound judgment and decision-making skills.
High fluency in English (spoken and written), excellent communications skills in written and oral formats, from operational to C-level.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to scope, structure, and solve strategic problems  Strong influencing and communication skills.
Resilient to dynamic environments and stakeholders.
Proven ability to influence at senior levels and disciplines within a large company Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and manage own work streams end-to-end, experience in different methodologies and strategic project approaches from market analysis to stakeholder management Highly numerate and excellent at leveraging facts and insights to generate and validate strategic hypotheses Understanding of our products and services; high level of commercial expertise is required including understanding of product P&L, unit economics, profitability and product lifecycle management     In return we provide you with.
