Deliver excellence with disruptive talent at our core.Multimodal mobility solutions for operators to cover all missions: Passenger and Freight.This hybrid position is based in Madrid with flexible remote and office working.We are looking for a Stress EngineerMissionThe stress activities consist in the definition of the loads, the analytical and numerical calculations (FEM), in static, dynamic, damage tolerance and fatigue, including non-linear analysis, metallic and composite, buckling and links justification (rivets, lugs, screws), mechanisms analysis (kinematics stress). Carry out associated documentation tasks. Specify, predict and follow-up of mechanical tests on ground and in flight,as well as correlate the analysis model with the obtained test results, is also our responsibility to consolidate our stress results and to comply with the Airworthiness rules, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.Main Responsibilities/Challenges:Static and dynamic structural analysis, composite & metallicVerify design, check of drawings, pre-sizing, architecture choices.Generate detailed analysis reports, effectively communicating findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Keep those responsible for stress and engineering permanently informed when required.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Rigorous, team spirit, continuous improvement, service mindedness.Requirements Master's degree (educated to 5 years' degree level) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).More than 7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical analysis and hand calculations.Expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).Proficiency in early approximative calculations and technical report writing.Background in developing methods and processes.Familiarity with the analysis of composite structures.Proficiency in both Spanish and EnglishSpecific KnowledgeUnderstanding of aircrafts and rotorcrafts structural behaviour.Strong understanding of EASA regulations, and knowledge of design principles and materials for the aeronautical industry, as well manufacturing and assembly technologies.Basic understanding of material characterization and application of failure criteria.
