This person will be crucial in maintaining and improving the technological infrastructure that supports all operations and, therefore, all deployments. The main challenge will be ensuring the stability and performance of the system while optimizing cost, driving operational efficiency and collaborating with the development team.The SysAdmin will be in charge of managing Linux, Windows and macOS systems, diagnosing issues, automating processes, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will work closely with the development team to provide technical support and resolve issues.From time to time, they will also be involved in spreading knowledge by creating 20-minute presentations (Pils) to explain to the rest of the team what we have in the infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:● Provide efficient technical support to internal team members, resolving issues related to systems, networks, and development environments.● Contribute to the creation and management of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.● Manage the configuration of equipment and server maintenance.● Maintain and oversee various software projects in the AWS environment, including container orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes) and implementing, configuring, updating, and maintaining microservices on AWS and on premise clusters.● Propose and implement disaster recovery plans (DRP)What you bring to the role:● Proficiency in administering different Linux systems and macOS (if not, expertise in Ubuntu, OpenSuse is acceptable).● Experience providing support to the development team (access to the logs, bug resolution, local environments, etc.)● Minimum 1 year of experience with AWS(VPC, EKS), and Azure(VN, AKS) is a must.● Ability to design AWS infrastructure that balances performance and cost.● Experience in virtualization and containers, using technologies like Kubernetes and Docker to facilitate the deployment and efficient management of applications in scalable environments.● Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash to automate repetitive tasks.● Expertise in creating pipelines with GitLab CI/CD configuration● Skills in managing databases, including performing backups and ensuring data security● Professional level of English language.● Understanding of LANs and knowledge of setting up and maintaining network security features like firewalls and VPNs.Nice to have:● Understanding of WANsWhat we offer:● You will work with the latest technologies being able to make technical decisions for each project.● Full-time job with Hybrid Working Model: 3 days at the Barcelona office and 2 remote.● Adeslas Health and Dental Insurance.● Training budget (1.000 euros per year, per person), covered by the company for courses/workshops/certifications.● Flexible retribution (Sodexo).● 23 days of holidays. 24 days after your first year.● Half day off on the Birthday.● English Classes.● Recurrent team building activities (dinners, after office, escape rooms, etc.)● Fully equipped and renovated office in the centre of Barcelona.● International company with a great environment.Recruiting process: 1 interview with HR + 1 technical interview + Final interview with management.
