TAX SPECIALIST - FINANCE DEPARTMENT

Within a team of 9 persons, you gain valuable experience working on exciting tasks and projects, in a cross functional and multicultural team environment and in direct contact with all local departments and Finance teams in Paris. Main missions:1. Tax: • Manage tax declarations and reports:- Elaboration of Corporate Income tax.- VAT on banking products.- Managing transfer pricing, DAC 6 regulation… any other tax report required by Spanish tax authorities.• Assist Front Office teams for tax lease transactions.• Advice and assist the various Departments of the Bank on simple tax issues.• Lead consultation with our tax advisors for complex tax issues• Manage tax audits and disputes with the assistance of our tax advisors.• Ensure tax monitoring• Supervise the relations with tax advisors.2. Monitoring of invoicing (received and issued):• Contribute actively in the implementation of the e-invoicing project.• Administrate the invoicing tool.3. Processing and monitoring of expenses:• Produce analytical accounting and follow up of expenses.• Contribute to Budget process for expenses. 4. Procurement:• Report the necessary information for the KYS (Know Your Supplier) process• Support the deployment of Head Office procurement guidelines to local departments (HR, Property and Corporate Services, IT) • Contribute to the implementation of a digital contract management solution.Education:• Bachelor or Master degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting including corporate / banking taxationExperience:• Minimum 4 years of experience as tax specialist in the Spanish banking / financial sector is required• Candidates with external audit experience in financial sector are welcomed to applyOperational skills:• Advanced knowledge in the Spanish tax regulation • Solid background in accounting in the banking sector.• Proficient in Excel tool and ability to manage and handle large quantities of data. Knowledge of Power BI tool would be an advantage.• Fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of French would also be a plus.• Good command of Word and Power Point.
