TECHNICAL LEAD

Job Title: ServiceNow Tech Lead (12-Month Contract, Fully Remote)At Asenium, we are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Tech Lead for a 12-month, fully remote contract. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact, joint delivery project with teams distributed across Europe and India.Position Overview:As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting a team of junior and senior developers. You will collaborate with Architects, Developers, and Product Owners, providing technical leadership, ensuring quality standards, and driving the development of complex ServiceNow requirements.We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong ability to work autonomously and assist peers in solving complex issues to avoid delivery delays.Key Responsibilities:Translate user stories into ServiceNow features with a focus on minimizing customizations.Collaborate with ServiceNow Architects and other Tech Leads to design, develop, and support ServiceNow solutions using best practices in architecture and development.Lead the implementation of ServiceNow CSM, ITSM, and FSM solutions, including:Core platform features (e.g., Case, Incident, and MIM management).Enhancing CSM Portals (UI, Service Catalog).Data integrations and management (CSDM).Integrations with third-party tools.Review and optimize code developed by other team members, ensuring low customization, optimal performance, scalability, and security.Develop enhancements identified during UAT and review existing designs for potential improvements.Oversee the quality and adherence to best practices of your team's overall technical delivery.Required Skills and Experience:Technical Expertise:8+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CSM and/or ITSM.Strong expertise in Case, Incident, and Request management, as well as Service Catalog setup.Proven experience with Portal management and customization.Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including CMDB and core features.Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools using scripted APIs and Integration Hub.Advanced knowledge of Workspaces, UI Builder, and Flow Designer.Knowledge of FSM or ITAM is a plus.Awareness of the ServiceNow product roadmap.Professional Skills:Solid understanding of ITIL processes.Experience with release management and version control best practices.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Ability to write clear and concise technical specifications, high-level design documentation, and troubleshooting guides.Experience with testing strategies and execution.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Soft Skills:Team Player: You will be a critical team member, ready to provide support and step in during challenging situations.Proactive: You anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and continuously seek ways to improve.Excellent Communicator: Able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.Language: Fluent English is essential.Additional Information:As part of the selection process, candidates will undergo a technical assessment.Onboarding date: 01/11/2024
