As a Transactions Assistant, you will manage purchasing processes, capture CAPEX demand, report, and maintain asset management processes.
You will provide first-level insights and analysis on capital assets, resolve supplier invoice issues, manage third-party contracts, and maintain a deep understanding of AstraZeneca’s contract procedures.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance and delivering optimal value to the company.
Essential Skills/Experience.
- Strong foundation in basic finance and accounting principles.
- Proven experience in raising purchase orders and managing invoices.
- Previous experience working in a high-volume, performance-driven, matrix organization.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a customer-focused environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, with solid math skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
- CAPEX experience in laboratory settings.
- Experience with contracts.
- Experience in finance system migration and modernization.
