TRAVEL AND EXPENSE SPECIALIST

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join Gartner’s Global Travel & Expense team as a Travel & Expense Specialist responsible for supporting our global travel, expense and purchasing programs.
As a T&E Specialist, you will get to work with Gartner associates all over the world while you help them navigate policy, tools, and processes.
You will also have the opportunity to assist with managing Gartner’s global travel management, corporate card, and expense management providers.
What you will do.
Management of customer service cases.
including answering complex questions from associates worldwide and suppliers on Gartner processes within our customer service SLA.
Understand Gartner’s travel, conference, expense and purchasing programs, processes and Global T&E Policy.
Assist travelers with transient and group travel questions and needs in collaboration with Gartner’s preferred suppliers.
Provide support and education to associates on general T&E and purchasing process inquiries.
Manage and collaborate with preferred travel, expense and corporate card suppliers to resolve associate issues.
Drive and support continuous improvement by supporting management initiatives.
Support conference and group travel teams in travel related initiatives.
Manage projects and other responsibilities as assigned (ex.
improve current travel conference process, and user purchasing experiences.).
What you will need.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction.
Be autonomous and own your role.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to learn new tools quickly.
Ability to communicate with a diverse audience at various levels while considering cultural differences.
Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with attention to details.
Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Work experience in travel & expense, project management, conference, or similar business functions.
