We believe in the power of simplicity and convenience, and with this, we have set new standards for online insurance.As part of the Pricing, Product & UW team, and in your role as a specialist, you will contribute to leading the Underwriting strategy of Allianz Direct Spain.Key Responsibilities:• Definition and monitoring of target segments, expansion methodologies to new segments, risk appetite, analysis of relevant KPIs.• Constant optimization of underwriting processes: external data sources, Quote & Buy, risk verification, product recommendations, renewals, vehicle replacement, add-ons, etc.• Continuous implementation and monitoring of underwriting rules, definition of risk selection criteria, portfolio cleaning, cohort strategies, fall-off ratio analysis, etc.• Techniques, methodologies, and processes for Underwriting Fraud, identifying new processes to enable fraud detection.• Ongoing coordination with the Pricing, Marketing & Sales, and Analytics teams to define, implement, and continuously monitor optimal growth strategies by channel and segment.• Collaboration in the definition and implementation of campaigns for target segments.Underwriting strategy by channels:· Support for the Contact Center in sales and underwriting processes: training on underwriting rules, products, processes, fraud, sales criteria, and risk selection, etc.· Collaboration in defining the strategy for Aggregators and in driving traffic to our website. • Continuous tracking of underwriting metrics: technical indicators for new business andportfolio, forward-looking KPIs, backtesting, etc. Promoting improvements in processes and criteria based on technical KPIs.Data• Identification of external data sources for the automation and improvement of underwriting processes and risk selection criteria.• Managing interactions with suppliers and searching for new data sources that allow for more precise and sophisticated underwriting and fraud management processes.Support in defining Allianz Direct Spain's product offering.• Ongoing market and customer research to adapt the product offering to target segments, making it attractive for digital and direct channels.• Continuous product innovation: configuration of Allianz Direct Spain's specific offering – basic packages, modular coverage, add-ons, limits, benefits, exclusions, deductibles, etc.• Support in launching new Allianz Direct products into the Spanish market.Skills for the Position:• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.• Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical underwriting functions in non-life insurance, ideally in Auto, Motorcycle, and Home products.• High level of English required (at least B2-C1).• IT skills, experience in data processing:· Previous experience with BI tools and user-level visualization: Power BI, Tableau, Databricks.· Ideally, basic/intermediate knowledge of SQL.· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.• Previous experience working in an Agile environment and methodologies is desirable.• Strong analytical skills.
