VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

At EVO, we are looking for a Vehicle Engineer to join our team. We value people with a passion for teamwork, organized, responsible and decisive.Your Tasks:Collaborate with designers to create initial vehicle concetps based on customer needs and market researchArquitecture vehicle definition take into account customer need, standard, regulations, internal requirements etcAnalysis and search for the most suitable components for the vehicleCarry out vehicle simulations (power consumption, vehicle dynamics, control strategy simulations, etc)Ensure proper integration of components/systems in vehicleSupplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to ensure that components meet the required specifications and quality standardsPerform vehicle testing and validation to ensure proper vehicle behaviourAddress and solve any technical issues that arise during the desing, tensting or manufacturing phasesCreate technical documentation and reportingStudies (Nice to have)Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronic/Electrical engineer or similarMaster's degree in automotive/vehicle or similarExperienceMin. 3 yearsKnowledge:FCHEV e-Powertrain system designHigh Voltage electrical system design (HV components, interlock, isolation, etc)Integration of High Voltage, Pneumatic and Hydraulic components in heavy duty vehiclesVehicle and components architecture of heavy duty vehiclesHV system and components used in electric platform (HV Battery, DCDC converter, OBC, Fuel Cell, Inverters, electric motor etc)Communication protocols in a vehicle ( i.e. CAN, J1939, LIN, Ethernet, etc)Vehicle testing, parametrization, and commissioningRequirements elicitationNice to have:Knowledge about common standards in automotive sector (R-134, ISO-16750, ISO-26262, J-1939, LV-123, LV-124, etc)Knowledge about ADAS systems (design and testing)Knowledge about EV regulations: electrical propelled vehicles, fuel cell systems, crash safety regulation, etcKnowledge about XCPKnowledge about Vehicle diagnosis and OBDToolsDevelopment of E/E architectures: Enterprise Architect, PreevisionSystem Modelling: Enterprise Architect, IBM System Design Rhapsody or similarSimulation: Matlab, SimulinkRequirements Management: Polarion, Doors or similarTesting tools (ETAS INCA, Vector CANoe and CANalyzer)Programming languages: Python, MatlabDiagnostic tools
