To achieve this, we carry out rigorous selection processes that ensure it.We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer, with the speciality of Mechanical/Materials, for our Inspection Department, depending on Procurement Area for EPC projects.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Review of Project Specifications (Manufacturing, quality Control). Detection of Quality Control requirements to be included in the Purchase Orders (POs). Internal review of Quality Control requirements included in the POs before its issuance to the Vendors.Review and comment Vendor manufacturing documents of the assigned Purchase Orders (e.g. Reactors, Columns, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Fired Heaters, Reformers, Package Units, Piping Material, Instruments, etc.). Main documents are: Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Manufacturing Purchase Specification, Test Procedures, Visual/Dimensional Control Procedure, Final Quality Dossier, etc. Plan, coordinate and schedule workshop inspection visits with all Inspection Representatives (Vendor, TR, Client). To lead the Pre-Inspection Meetings for the applicable POs. To request (internally and to external Inspection Agencies) and select adequate inspectors to cover all related inspection activities according to the applicable ITPs.Handling of Notice of Inspections (NOIs) with all involved parties (Vendor, TR, Client)To attend to critical Inspection Visits when neededReview, control and distribution of Inspection ReportsManaging of NCRs with Vendor and ClientParticipate in meetings with the rest of Project Areas and Disciplines (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) as needed. Team working with Technical Departments and with the rest of the Project Inspection Team. To deal with Client Inspection Representatives, attending meetings with them when necessary. To have a fluent communication with Vendors in order to assure that Vendor understand all comments and Project requirements, with the aim to achieve a smooth manufacturing process. To develop these responsabilities the candidate will need the following requirements:Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or Equivalent.5+ years’ experience in quality control of manufacturing of static equipment, package units, valves and piping components. Experience in producing/reviewing manufacturing and quality documents. Knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, NACE Codes. Experienced in most used materials in Oil & Gas industry (Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Austenitic Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Ni Alloys, etc.)Knowledge on NDTs (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET) Fluent English written and spoken (B2-C1)Preferred Qualifications and Education:International Welding Engineer / Certified Welding Inspector (CWI/CSWIP)BGAS/NACE/FROSIO Painting and Coating QualificationAPI Certifications (936, 570, 571, SIFE, SIRE)Based in Madrid, can be required occasional business trips.We offer:Very interesting and key EPC projects within oil&gas/energy sector.Flexible time table, one two/week remote work.Competitive salary depending on experience.
