ob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Venture Intern to join our team in Barcelona.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to venture capital, market research, and strategic business analysis.
The intern will work closely with the Act Second Ventures team to support investment activities, conduct in-depth market analyses, assess potential ventures, and assist in building new businesses from the ground up.
This is an ideal role for someone in their 3rd or 4th year of a bachelor’s program in Business at a top university or an MBA candidate looking to gain real-world experience in venture capital and entrepreneurship.
ey Responsibilities Market Analysis.
Conduct research on industry trends, emerging markets, competitive landscapes, and potential investment opportunities.
Venture Analysis.
Assist in evaluating new venture opportunities, including financial modeling, business case development, and risk assessment.
Due Diligence.
Support the due diligence process for potential investments/ventures, gathering and analyzing data on target companies and markets.
Strategic Support.
Collaborate with the Ventures team to provide strategic insights and recommendations for portfolio companies.
Presentation Development.
Prepare presentations, reports, and investment memos for internal and external stakeholders.
Operational Support.
Assist in the operational aspects of launching and managing new ventures, including project management and stakeholder coordination.
Networking and Relationship Building.
Participate in meetings with entrepreneurs, investors, and other key stakeholders to build your network and gain insights into the venture ecosystem.
