A lot has changed since Alfred Nobel started the business but some things haven´t changed: our dedication to our people to achieve excellence in what we do.What are we looking for?An engineers related to the world of mining (Mining; Geology; Energy, etc) who want to continue their professional development in an international environment with great potential for growth.ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Engineer you will take over different positions at the Mine site covering all the functions assigned in the chain of responsibility: Bulk Operations from Assistant Level, Technical Services Support, Manufacturing Operations and Commercial Assistance.Overall, responsibility to assist on all related works of a blast and general operations include:Ensuring the correct priming, loading and right use of the hose during the loading of the hole.Following and assist blast procedures.Maintaining a safe and clean work area and complying with H&S policies.Assist on Overall responsibility for the Mobile Units.Assist on the Manufacturing and delivering of bulk products, ensuring correct quality control.Ensuring the correct operation, maintenance and all safety measures of the Units.Preparing the Unit for the blast in accordance with the Technical Manager instructions.Working with the customer to optimize drilling and blasting practices.Troubleshooting malfunctioning loading system when required.Assist on Overall responsibility for the application of blasting plans, company and country policies regarding the use of explosives.Ensuring that blasting plans are executed daily.Troubleshooting malfunctioning blastholes when required.General execution of all blasting plans.Reporting and control.Requirements:Excellent Academic Record.Mining, Geology or Industrial Engineer (or soon graduated). Previous experience in quarry and mining operations will be valued.Spanish and English languages are required. Other languages are a plus.Have no geographical limitations and great adaptability.
